Student Essay Contests

Theme: My Family & Me
Contest Deadline: October 1, 2009

Students are invited to submit essays through their school:

• K-2nd grade - Maximum 75 words
• 3rd-5th grades - Maximum 150 words
• 6th-8th grades - Maximum 300 words

Schools are requested to:

• Select 1st place winner in each category (K-2, 3-5, 6-8)
• Video tape winning essay in each category read by the author
• Submit winning essays, dvd, and entry form by October 1, 2009 to:

Public schools: Community Involvement Office, Route E
Private Schools/Home Schoolers:
