Kids newspaper, library night, schools to send home a book for the children to read with their families. Check with your local library. More ideas will be posted on this site in the future. Also visit Polk County Library Cooperative for great reading ideas.

Family Financial Health
Wonderful ideas and projects that will assist adults and children alike to learn wealth management. Some suggestions will be posted on this site in the future.
Wednesday, November 17            
Dinner with the Family
Eat with your family: at school, at home, or at a restaurant. Five economical recipes will be posted on this site in the future. Plan an activity together for after dinner. Talk about your day with each other.

Service/Museum Night
Visit Explorations V Children's Museum in Lakeland: FREE family admission from 4-8 PM with a donation of a non-perishable food item to be given to area food banks (Click Here for a list of suggested donations). View the individual school winners from the Polk County Family Week "Why I Love My Family" Art Contest in the Museum's Dreamer's Gallery. More Service Night ideas are available HERE.

Note: 239 pounds of food was collected in 2009 and was donated to Catholic Charities!

Friday, November 19                          
Game Night
Focus on FUN! Have fun with your family! Support your favorite school team, visit Boys and Girls Clubs, any Polk County YMCA's, Silver Moon Drive-In in Lakeland.

FREE Rotary Park Movie Night at 7:30 PM.
